 Our Mission Statement:
The Kentucky Trail Riders Association is an association of equestrian trail riders. We are bonded by the love of pleasure horses, experiencing the beautiful trails available to us, and sharing this with our family and friends. We schedule trail rides across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, and Missouri. We hold regular rides, meetings, trail rider events, fun shows, and social gatherings. On the trail we enjoy the company of our members and ride safely to ensure members and non-members remain safe. We will always render assistance when needed to members and non-members alike. Our new goal for 2011 is Fun, Safe, and Happy Trails. The only effort required of our members is to respect other riders, property owners, and state parks, and to be safe and have a good time. As an association we will support the efforts of other state and local organizations that benefit our interests.
The KENTUCKY TRAIL RIDERS ASSOCIATION
will work smarter, not harder.

Our Creed:
"Our Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the opportunity to work and play with the wonderful folks at the Kentucky Trail Riders Association.  We ask as we journey together, that you guide us with the surefootedness of our mounts.  Never let us forget although we may ride different disciplines we are all traveling the same trail with one common cause.  Bless our work.
May the fruits of our efforts guarantee many open, safe and happy trails for the riders we represent.

A men.

my way around. I have not made my reservation yet because I will watch the weather. If the weather is bad this

October 6th
-9th
Bay Creek Horse Camp: The campground is just ok, Sites 21-26 suck! , but riding is great, Beautiful
trail around the lake and wonderful rock formations. Shoes all around, Trails are Easy, Moderate, and Aggressive and marking system can be a little tricky at times.  When I say Aggressive, I don't mean step hills, I just mean goat paths and tricky rocks to go through.  I highly recommend riding at Shawnee just not with a young horse.  I have made my reservation but I will tell you there are no stall available just pens and picket lines.  www.baycreekranch.com  (618) 695-2670

October 17th -21st  East Fork Stables:  East Fork is having their fall ride at this time.  You will need to call for pricing.  It is not cheap, but well worth the money.  The meals I think are the best meals I have ever eaten!  The riding is Easy,Moderate and Aggressive the mapping system is one of the best I have ever seen.  The have all their easy, moderate, and aggressive trails colors marked on the map.  If you stay on the easy trails you can take a young or out of shape horse.  They have wagon trails too.  I have my reservations made!

I will be planning more camping trips and day rides though out the year and as I make my reservation or plans I will send out e-mails and post the information on Face Book.
